WhatsApp Training Program
FINCA Perú is an organization that promotes community development through microcredits and training the population on the proper use of granted funds. An important part of their processes is having a well-trained credit evaluation team to make fair decisions regarding the granting or denial of financing. In this context, the client expressed their need to optimize how they built and deployed their training, given that the evaluation team spends a lot of time in the field and their training times are not fixed. Aprendizaje360 built -together with the client- a five-module course deployed through WhatsApp. This course includes various types of educational activities: videos, podcasts, infographics, games, among others. Additionally, it has evaluative activities for each module with immediate feedback. What's interesting about these courses is that they also have a learning assistant powered by an artificial intelligence engine that can answer content questions from users. Thus, participants now have quality training, deployed on a familiar platform, which allows easier access and enables self-paced learning management.
Implementation and maintenance of a high-performance Moodle platform
Innova Schools México is a system of primary and secondary schools in constant growth in Mexico. This growth implies greater training needs for the teaching staff. These training needs must be addressed quickly with quality in educational design and high availability of training for these teachers. Additionally, due to the workload of these teachers, training must be accessible from anywhere, at any time. Aprendizaje360 has implemented a high-performance Moodle platform on cloud infrastructure. This platform uses various Amazon Web Services, such as EC2, serverless databases (RDS), load balancing, autoscaling, and broadband hard drives that ensure the platform responds quickly and has very high availability. Additionally, a series of indicators have been implemented that are constantly monitored to ensure service performance, allowing efficient preventive and reactive actions. With this, Innova Schools México has a virtual learning platform for its teachers that ensures easy and quick access to their training. Additionally, the institution has the security that their data is safe and possibilities for constant updates.
Educational model and educational process management
Universidad Privada del Norte is one of the largest universities in Peru in terms of number of students and campuses distributed throughout the country. On the other hand, Peruvian educational legislation requires universities to have an updated educational model that clearly establishes and describes the major principles and axes of action that the university proposes to achieve its mission and vision. Additionally, UPN was in a process of incorporating massive virtual learning offerings. Aprendizaje360 developed together with the most important stakeholder team of the university (rector, vice-rectors, department directors, teachers, administrators, and others) the university's educational model, according to the requirements of Peruvian legislation, but especially according to the future vision and level of excellence of this organization. This educational model draws from a socioconstructivist theoretical framework, best educational practices, and the integration of the university's values and pillars. Additionally, a model for managing educational processes was built to efficiently deploy a large virtual learning offering. As a result of the joint work, Universidad Privada del Norte now has an educational model that clearly and extensively exposes the university's quality spirit, available to the entire educational community.
Test virtualization, design and deployment of an educational quality assessment platform
In a constant effort to improve training quality, Innova Schools conducts each year a test that measures student learning in various subjects. These tests have psychometric validity and given the large dimension of the school system organization in Peru, they are deployed virtually. Precisely because of this latter fact, it is convenient that data collection be relatively simple, but without losing data robustness and cleanliness. Aprendizaje360 implemented a test virtualization service that made more efficient the interaction between Innova Schools teachers and providers and the Aprendizaje360 team to build virtual tests on a publicly available platform. On the other hand, Aprendizaje360's IT team developed software so that students could take the tests without interference from other applications available on the computers. Innova Schools was able to deploy QEL tests for four consecutive years with Aprendizaje360's technological support to an ever-increasing number of subjects and students and was able to obtain results programmatically, which allowed accelerating the data analysis process.
Implementation of a virtual training strategy
UEBT, a non-profit organization that promotes ethical sourcing of natural ingredients, required a virtual training platform to train flexibly and consistently the staff of its member institutions worldwide. These professionals are responsible for applying, certifying, and verifying compliance with UEBT standards at natural ingredient production and processing sites. The platform had to ensure that this geographically dispersed staff had the necessary knowledge to perform their work effectively. Aprendizaje360 has accompanied UEBT in developing and implementing its virtual training strategy, through continuous consulting services and the customization of a scalable, multi-device Moodle LMS. This accompaniment has allowed UEBT to gradually define the best way to implement its virtual training strategy over time. The service also included the design and development of 100% virtual training modules, with interactive resources and Moodle tools. These developments had the validation of UEBT experts to ensure their quality and relevance. The implementation of the virtual training platform has allowed UEBT to train continuously, flexibly, and standardized the staff of its member institutions globally. The issuance of certifications through the platform validates acquired competencies, strengthening UEBT's global network and its ability to promote biodiversity regeneration and respect for human rights in supply chains.
Tutoring and support service for teaching in virtual environments
In the context of confinement due to the 2020 pandemic, CENTRUM PUCP found itself in need of migrating to a total virtuality model immediately. For this, they required support that would allow them to ensure the continuity of their programs, given that their teachers were not familiar with the use of technological tools for teaching classes in virtual environments. Aprendizaje360 implemented a comprehensive technical tutoring service, which included the hiring, management, and training of a team of tutors. The tutors provided support to teachers in the use of Adobe Connect during sessions. The service was adapted to CENTRUM PUCP's needs, with the provision of one or more tutors simultaneously, according to requirements. Thanks to technical support, CENTRUM PUCP teachers could focus on their pedagogical work, while tutors took care of the technological aspects of virtual classrooms. This ensured continuity and quality of classes, and students indirectly benefited by receiving a virtual learning experience without disruptions.
Development of 100% virtual higher education courses
UPN sought to complement its synchronous undergraduate classes with 100% virtual, interactive, asynchronous access learning materials. The objective was to offer students attractive and relevant resources that would allow flexible learning. The university sought to modernize its educational offering and adapt to new trends in virtual education. Aprendizaje360 developed nine virtual courses for UPN, optimizing the university's initial educational proposal. SCORM learning objects were created, both content and practice, including interactive games, using Articulate Storyline and multimedia elements (narration, images, text, and subtitles). Reading material with improved visual design was also developed. The Aprendizaje360 team applied its experience in learning theories and multimedia design to ensure pedagogical effectiveness and appeal of each course. UPN was able to complement its synchronous classes with high-quality virtual courses, offering its students a more flexible, interactive, and modern learning experience. These courses benefited thousands of undergraduate students, improving the learning process and contributing to the university's digital transformation.
Digital certificates and badges model
PUCP is Peru's leading university and in an effort to align with educational, technological, and job placement market demands in favor of its students, it has gradually established a system for delivering digital credentials and badges aimed at recognizing learning achievements at various levels: skills, competencies, programs. This initiative has had great impact in various academic units of the university. This has promoted in this university a space for reflection to standardize the process of delivering these recognitions in all units, as well as to align them with current market demands. Aprendizaje360's principal consultant worked together with experts from the Continuing Education Department and the Academic Vice-Rectorate to create a management model for digital certificates and badges that governs all academic units of the university. This model contains administrative, educational, graphic, and communication guidelines that allow the university to have standardized quality processes that promote the recognition of these certificates and badges as highly relevant tools for positioning its students in the labor market. Now PUCP has a tool that governs the processes of issuance, delivery, and socialization of digital certificates and badges that allows all its units to issue them quickly, efficiently, and standardized. This model is open to future improvements according to educational technology innovations and market demands.
Corporate virtual learning management process model
Alicorp is one of the largest companies in the food industry and distribution in Peru. In the context of post-pandemic corporate training, Alicorp identified the need to boost online training for field personnel, but given the company's dimensions, they estimated it necessary to identify the processes needed to generate and deploy this offering in an orderly manner. The team of educational experts from Aprendizaje360 worked hand in hand with Alicorp's main corporate education stakeholders to generate a complete virtual learning management model. This model contemplates the identification of educational needs, competency creation, processes for creating educational programs, and standardization in the creation of virtual courses. Finally, the model also contemplates tools for evaluating learning and continuous improvement of training. The generation of a virtual learning management process model tailored to Alicorp's culture, technological infrastructure, strategic organizational objectives, and values allows the organization to design and deploy virtual training quickly and efficiently, following high quality standards.
